wide sandy beach which is popular with surfers and families.
There are decent facilities and plenty of parking. At low
tide the beach stretches from Sennen Cove to Gwynver Beach.
There is also parking at Gwynver but with a very steep path
to the beach. The coast path can be walked south to Lands
End for spectacular coastal views
Directions:Sennen Cove is 9 miles from Penzance. Follow the
A30 around the outskirts of Penzance, then follow the A30
to Sennen Cove and Lands End. Shortly before Lands End turn
right for Sennen Cove. Before the Sennen Cove turning there
is a turning to the car park at Gwynver
Parking:1 large field car park on the cliffs and smaller car
parks by the beach and by the harbour. There is also parking
at Gwynver
Toilets:Yes, by the beach car park and harbour car park. No
toilets at Gwynver
Facilities:Restaurants & cafe's at Sennen Cove. No facilities
at Gwynver
Activities:Surfing
Safety:Lifeguards in summer
Dogs:Dogs are banned on the beach at Sennen Cove from 1st
May to 30th September (8am to 7pm). Dogs allowed all year
at Gwynver
