Kenneggy Sand Beach

West Cornwall.
Description:
Kenneggy Sand is a nice sandy beach but with no facilities or parking and difficult access. Park at Bessy's Cove or Praa Sands and walk the coast path (takes 20 minutes from Bessy's Cove).
Safety:
Risk of getting cut off at high tide. Risk of rock falls. See Beach Safety Guide.
Access:
Access to the beach is by walking across the rocks at low tide from Coules's Cove to Kenneggy Sand. The rocks may be slippery when wet.
Dogs:
Dogs allowed all year at Kenneggy Sand.
Directions:
Bessy's Cove (part of Prussia Cove) is about 1 mile from Rosudgeon which is about 7 miles from Helston. Take the A394 west from Helston or east from Marazion. At the village of Rosudgeon turn south for Prussia Cove (signposted to Prussia Cove). At the Bessy's Cove car park walk along a lane, this becomes the coast path and walk the coast path east to Kenneggy Sand. Alternatively park at Praa Sands and walk the coast path west.
