Polperro Beach

South East Cornwall.
Description:
Polperro is a picturesque working fishing village with a small sandy beach beyond the harbour wall. There is also a tidal pool below the cliffs. In Polperro village there is much to see and there are plenty of gift shops and cafés.

Access:
There is a long walk from the car park to the village, but in summer there is a horse bus service and electric mini bus service. There are steep steps to the beach and very steep steps to the tidal pool.
Dogs:
Dogs allowed on the beach all year, but must be on leads between 10am and 6pm.
Directions:
Polperro is 5 miles from Looe and 24 miles from Plymouth. Take the A38 from Plymouth. At Trerulefoot turn left onto the A374. After approximately 1 mile turn left onto the A387 for Looe. At Looe cross the bridge and continue on the A387 to Polperro.
