Description:Plaidy
beach is a small but pleasant sandy beach with many rock
pools. However, there are no facilities or car parking
Directions:Plaidy beach is 18 miles from Plymouth. Take the
A38 from Plymouth. At Trerulefoot turn left onto the A374.
After approximately 1 mile turn left onto the A387 for Looe.
At Widegates turn left onto the B3253. Park at Looe or Millendreath.
Millendreath is closer to Plaidy, so parking at Millendreath
is a better option. The Millendreath turning is about 1 mile
before Looe. The coast path from Millendreath to Plaidy beach
is steep in places.
Parking:1 car park at Millendreath. 3 car parks at Looe
Toilets:No toilets at Plaidy beach or Millendreath. The nearest
toilets are in Looe
