Crackington Haven Beach

North Cornwall.
Description:
At Crackington Haven there is a popular sand and pebble beach with plenty of sand at low tide. There are also rock pools at low tide. Parking and facilities are close to the beach. There are excellent views from the 400 foot cliffs at Crackington Haven.
Safety:
Signs warn of strong under currents, unstable cliffs and large breaking waves. Also no inflatables. Lifeguards in summer. See Beach Safety Guide.
Access:
Slipway to the beach at Crackington Haven.
Dogs:
Dogs are banned on Crackington Haven Beach from 15th May to 30th September (10am to 6pm).
Directions:
Crackington Haven is approx 21 miles from Wadebridge. Take the A39 from Wadebridge or Camelford. Follow the A39 north and turn left at Wainhouse Corner (signposted to Crackington Haven). Follow this road to Crackington Haven.
