Boobys Bay Beach

Boobys Bay Beach is a wide sandy beach with many rock pools and popular with surfers. There is excellent walking from Boobys Bay north to Dinas Head and Trevose Head. There is a National Trust car park at Boobys Bay open in the summer, alternatively park at Constantine Bay and walk along the beach at low tide to Boobys Bay. Safety:
Signs warn of strong under currents, large breaking waves, not to swim at high tide and not to swim on right side (north) part of the beach. Also signs warn of submerged objects in the sand. Beach access is by climbing down over rocks and these can be slippery when wet. Risk of getting cut off at high tide. Lifeguards in summer at Boobys Bay Beach. See Beach Safety Guide.Access:
Access to the beach at Boobys Bay is via the National Trust car park, taking about 10 minutes to walk. Final access to the beach is by climbing down over rocks from the coast path. Alternatively walk from Constantine Bay across the sand to Boobys Bay Beach at low tide.Dogs:

Boobys Bay is approximately 11 miles from Newquay. On the A30 near Indian Queens turn onto the A39 at the Highgate Hill roundabout. Proceed on the A39 north and at the Trekenning roundabout take the first left onto the A3059 (signposted for Newquay). After about 2 miles turn right, signposted to Watergate Bay and Mawgan Porth. Continue on this road until a junction and here turn right onto the B3276 (signposted to Padstow and Mawgan Porth) and follow the B3276 north through Mawgan Porth and Porthcothan. Then at the village of St Merryn, turn left where signposted to Trevose Head. Continue north with a left turning followed by a right turning, both signposted to Trevose Head, until a left turning to the Boobys Bay car park. Alternatively park at Constantine Bay and walked along the beach to Boobys Bay.Post Code:
