| Description:Pendower
Beach is the west part of a huge sandy beach about 1 mile
long in Gerrans Bay. There is a slipway down to the beach |

Directions:Pendower Beach is 10 miles from Truro and 12 miles
from St Austell. Aproaching from the east or west on the A390
about 4 miles east of Truro turn onto the A3078 for St Mawes.
Continue on the A3078 past Tregony and Ruan High Lanes and
then turn left for Veryan. At Veryan turn right, then follow
this road for about 2 miles and then turn right and follow
this road down to the Pendower Beach car park. Alternatively,
continue on the A3078 past the Veryan turning and take the
next left to drive down the western approach to Pendower.
There is a very small car park on the cliff top |

Parking:1 car park behind Pendower beach (reached from the
Veryan route) and 1 very small car park on the Pendower cliff
top (space for about 30 cars). There is also a car park at
Carne Beach |
