Description:Gunwalloe
Fishing Cove is a small cove which is the southern most part
of Porthleven Sands. Gunwalloe is usually quiet as there are
no parking and facilities. There is a slipway to Gunwalloe
beach
Directions:Gunwalloe Fishing Cove is approximately 5 miles
from Helston. Approach Helston on the A394 from the east or
west. Alternatively drive to Redruth on the A30 and at Redruth
take the B3297 to Helston. At Helston follow the A3083 to
Lizard. About 2 miles after Helston turn right to Gunwalloe.
After 2 miles drive through Gunwalloe village and continue
on this road to the Church Cove car park. Then walk the coast
path north, taking approximately 30 minutes. Alternatively
drive to the Loe Bar car park and walk the coast path south
to Gunwalloe
