Samphire Beach is a small sand and shingle beach to the west of Looe. There are many rock pools.

Access:
Access is via a 10 minute walk on the coast path from Hannafore Point, to the west of Looe. Final access to the beach is via wooden steps.
Dogs:
Dogs allowed all year on Samphire Beach.
Directions:
Looe is 18 miles from Plymouth. Take the A38 from Plymouth over the Tamar Bridge into South East Cornwall. At Trerulefoot, turn onto the A374 (signposted to Looe). After approximately 1 mile, turn right onto the A387 (again signposted to Looe). At Widegates the A387 becomes the B3253 for Looe. Continue on this road to Looe. At Looe immediately after the bridge turn left and follow the road to Hannafore Point. Park at Hannafore Point and walk the coast path west to Samphire Beach.
