Description:
Portscatho is an attractive fishing village on the South Cornwall coast. Below the village is a small sandy harbour and a sandy beach flanked by large rocky areas.

Access:
There is a sloping path from the car park to the village, which takes about 10 minutes to walk and is not suitable for wheel chairs. In the village there is a sloping slipway to the harbour and from River Street there is a sloping slipway to the sandy beach.
Dogs:
Dogs banned from 1st July to 31st August (10am to 6pm).
Directions:
Portscatho is 13 miles from Truro and 16 miles from St Austell. Aproaching from the east or west on the A390 about 4 miles east of Truro turn onto the A3078 for St Mawes. Continue on the A3078 until Trewithian. At Trewithian turn left for Portscatho (where signposted to Portscatho). Take the next left and there is a small car park just before Portscatho village.
