Rinsey Beach

Description:
Rinsey Beach is a pleasant sandy cove a few miles west of Porthleven. Note there is no sand at high tide.

Access:
The path from the car park to the beach is steep. Final access to the beach is by climbing over rocks which may be slippery. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the car park to the beach.

Dogs allowed all year.
Directions:
Rinsey Beach is about 23 miles from Truro and 5 miles from Helston. From Helston drive west on the A394 for about 4 miles. At the village of Ashton, turn left onto Rinsey Lane, which is signposted to Rinsey. Where this lane bends to the left, turn right onto a lane again signposted to Rinsey. At Rinsey village, drive straight through the village and the Rinsey Beach car park is a short distance beyond the village.

1 National Trust car park with space for about 30 cars. You can also park at Praa Sands and walk the coast path west to Rinsey Beach, taking about 30-40 minutes.
