| Description:Portheras
Cove is a pleasant cove with a white sand beach. There are
no facilities or parking. Park at the Pendeen Watch lighthouse
and walk the coast path east to Portheras Cove(takes about
20 minutes) |
Directions:Pendeen Watch is 1 mile from Pendeen which is 11
miles from St Ives. At St Ives take the B3306 and follow this
west for about 10 miles to Pendeen. At Pendeen turn right
for Pendeen Watch lighthouse. Alternatively, drive to Penzance
on the A30 and follow the A30 around Penzance following the
signs to Lands End. Shortly before Sennen Cove, turn onto
the B3306 and drive east to Pendeen |
