Restormel district includes a short stretch of the North Cornwall
coast and a much longer section of the south cornwall coastline. Busy Newquay in the North is world famous as a surfers haven and there is also excellent surfing in Watergate bay. With miles of perfect sand, the area is perfect for beach holidays. |

the south, there are plenty of sandy beaches around St Austell Bay
and
there are picturesque ports to visit too, such as Fowey and Mevagissey. There are excellent walks on the coast path, especially around the headlands of Gribbin Head and Dodman Point. Inland, the world famous Eden Project on the outskirts of St Austell is well worth a visit. |
