Trevellas Porth Beach

Location:
North Cornwall.
Description:
Trevellas Porth is a small pebble beach with a large area of rocks at low tide. The beach is close to the larger beach at Trevaunance Cove, which can be reached on the coast path.
Safety:
Signs warn of strong undercurrents and not to swim. Signs also warns of unstable cliffs and not to cross to Trevaunance Cove via the beach. See Beach Safety Guide.
Access:
There is a path from the car park down over rocks to the beach which is not suitable for wheelchairs.
Dogs:
Dogs allowed all year at Trevellas Porth.
Directions:
Trevellas Porth is close to St Agnes which is 12 miles from Newquay and 9 miles from Redruth. Use the A30 from the east or west. At the Chiverton Cross roundabout (about 8 miles from Redruth) turn onto the B3277 the road to St Agnes. At St Agnes at a mini roundabout turn right. Proceed through St Agnes on this road which becomes one-way. Past the church, follow the road down to another roundabout. Go straight across the roundabout and take the second left (where signposted to "Blue Hills Tin"). Follow this road to a junction and here turn right and follow this road down into a valley. After a small bridge turn left and follow this lane down the valley to the Trevellas Porth car park. Alternatively park at Trevaunance Cove and walk the coast path to Trevellas Porth, taking about 20 minutes.
